Everton still haven’t got over the 5-0 drubbing they endured at Chelsea and are dropping like a stone. The Toffees have won just one of their previous eleven matches but have at least been avoiding defeat at home. Ronald Koeman needs to do something to stop the rot but Tuesday’s visitors are gunning for the title and will not be doing them any favours.
Arsenal are in fine form at the moment,with an EFL Cup defeat away at Southampton the only time they have lost since the opening day of the season. They’ve been a joy to watch with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez wreaking havoc on defences, the Gunners firing 12 goals in their last three games alone.
Although Everton are unbeaten at home in their last 4 matches, they have been far from convincing and were gifted a penalty against Manchester United. Arsenal have been far more clinical in front of goal than any of their recent visitors and I can see Arsene Wenger’s side bagging a few goals here. Everton may get on the score sheet but the feeling is it will be nothing more than a consolation.

Everton midfielder Gareth Barry begins a two-match suspension for being sent off in last week’s FA Cup victory over Chelsea which could see Muhamed Besic making his fifth start in an injury-plagued season.
