Leicester v Manchester United Prediction and Preview – 28/11/15
Premier League preview – Leicester v Manchester United prediction
Leicester striker Jamie Vardy will be the focus of attention as he bids to become the first player to score in 11 consecutive Premier League games. With the exception of the long-term absentee Matthew James, Claudio Ranieri has a fully fit squad to choose from so Vardy can expect the usual support from the team.
Louis van Gaal sacrificed full back Mattio Darmian for Juan Mata late in the midweek Champions League game as Manchester United pressed for a win against PSV but the 25-year-old Italian should be re-instated on Saturday. Michael Carrick may have to settle for a place on the bench for his return from an ankle injury. Anders Herrera and Phil Jones picked up knocks in last weekend’s victory at Watford and remain doubtful after missing the PSV match.
Possible Line-ups
Leicester: 4-4-2 formation: Schmeichel; Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs; Mahrez, Drinkwater, Kante, Albrighton; Ulloa, Vardy
Manchester United: 4-2-3-1 formation: De Gea; Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Rojo; Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin; Mata, Rooney, Lingard; Martial

Prediction
Leicester have surprised everyone to force their way to the top of the Premier League and face of their biggest tests to date for the right to stay there for another week. The Foxes have played two of the division’s heavyweights so far, both games at home. They managed a 1-1 draw against Tottenham in August but were thrashed 5-2 when Arsenal came to the King Power Stadium in September
United were booed off the pitch following the 0-0 draw against PSV in the Champions League on Tuesday. The forwards were wasteful with their few chances and the Old Trafford crowd are getting concerned by the lack of creativity in the final third. The Red Devils have the best defensive record in the Premier League, conceding just 9 goals in 13 games and will need to be at their best against the league’s top scorers.
This may be a game for Manchester United fans to appreciate their team’s defensive prowess and free from the tensions of their own ground, the visitors can register their fifth away win of this league campaign.
