Premier League preview – Manchester United vs Leicester City prediction.

Manchester United have no new injury concerns after their FA Cup semi-final win and Louis van Gaal could name the same eleven that started at Wembley last Saturday. He has lots of midfield options with Juan Mata, Ander Herrera and Morgan Schneiderlin all hoping to be involved. United continue without the sidelined Bastian Schweinsteiger, Adnan Januzaj and Luke Shaw.

Leicester City are hoping to clinch the title at Old Trafford on Sunday and will have to do it without leading scorer Jamie Vardy who will serve the second of his two-match ban. Vardy’s replacement, Joshua Ulloa, was substituted against Swansea last week after suffering a back spasm and will be assessed closer to kick-off. With the exception of Matty James who has not played this season, Claudio Ranieri has the rest of his squad available.

Possible Line-ups

Manchester United 4-1-4-1 formation: de Gea; Fosu-Mensah, Smalling, Blind, Rojo; Carrick; Lingard, Fellaini, Rooney, Martial; Rashford

Leicester City 4-4-2 formation: Schmeichel; Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs; Mahrez, Drinkwater, Kante, Schlupp; Okazaki, Ulloa

Manchester United vs Leicester City Prediction

Manchester United have found some consistency and are still in with a chance of finishing in the top four, although it will require a victory at Old Trafford on Sunday to keep the dream alive. United have won their last four competitive games and have only lost one of the last nine, when away at Tottenham three weeks ago. They have won six consecutive home games in the league, keeping five clean sheets in the process. Leicester are unbeaten in nine league games since losing 2-1 at Arsenal in February and have scored in every Premier League game since playing a goalless draw against Bournemouth 15 games ago. They have won their last three away games without conceding and have only lost twice away from home all season. Manchester United have only conceded seven league goals at Old Trafford and their solid defence could leave Leicester waiting a little longer to lift the title trophy.
