Stoke vs Leicester Prediction and Preview – 19/09/15
Premier League preview – Stoke vs Leicester prediction
Stoke boss Mark Hughes is without Charlie Adam and Ibrahim Afellay who are both suspended. Central defender Ryan Shawcross is still out through injury although Glen Johnson could make a return to the squad. Forward Bojan made a return from the bench last week and could be be in line for a start.
With the only player out being Matthew James, Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri has a full squad of players to pick from. With that in mind and the fact the team came back from a losing position last week, Ranieri may opt to go with the line-up which finished that match or give the starting XI another chance to prove their worth.
Possible Line-ups
Stoke: 4-2-3-1 formation: Butland; Johnson, Muniesa, Cameron, Pieters; Van Ginkel, Whelan; Arnautovic, Bojan, Shaqiri ,Diouf
Leicester: 4-4-2 formation: Schmeichel; Laet, Huth, Morgan, Schlupp; Mahrez, Inler, Drinkwater, Albrighton; Okazaki, Vardy

Prediction
It’s been a poor start to the season for Stoke City and they find themselves in the relegation zone ahead of this match. Having made, what seemed like some good signings in the summer transfer window, the current form will be a disappointment and something Mark Hughes needs to rectify. Scoring goals has been a problem in recent Premier League games.
Leicester did superbly to come back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Aston Villa in their last Premier League game. The win maintained their excellent unbeaten start to the Premier League season, which sees them sitting in second place, 4 points off leaders Manchester City. Leicester have found the back of the net in every match they have played this season and will be aiming to continue that run at the Britannia Stadium.
Stoke have failed to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League this season and it seems unlikely they will be able to keep out a free-scoring Leicester team.
