AC Milan vs Chievo Prediction and Preview – 28/10/15
Serie A preview – AC Milan vs Chievo prediction
AC Milan manager Sinisa Mihajlovic is definitely without Jeremy Menez, Mario Balotelli, Andrea Bertolacci and M’Baye Niang, who are all injured. There are also doubts over the fitness of Keisuke Honda, Cristian Zapata, Alex and Andrea Poli. Following the victory at the weekend, young goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is expected to keep his place.
Chievo are definitely without midfielder Nicola Rigoni, who has been a regular in the team this season. Dario Dainelli, Simone Pepe and Valter Birsa are all rated as doubtful and it’s the latter who Chievo fans will be hoping makes it, having scored 2 goals this season.

Prediction
AC Milan ended their three match Serie A run without a win, as they defeated Sassuolo at the San Siro at the weekend. Having said that, it still wasn’t a hugely convincing performance from Mihajlovic’s team and they needed a last gasp goal to seal the points. Only once this season have Milan managed to string back-to-back wins together and with this being another home game, the Rosseneri will be hoping to repeat the feat.
Chievo went undefeated in their first three Serie games this season but have failed to win a single game in their last four played. The two 1-1 draws with Sassuolo and Hellas Verona may have seemed acceptable at the time but they have since been followed up by two defeats, one at Genoa and last time out at home to Napoli. Chievo need to turn things around quickly or risk getting sucked in to the bottom half of the table.
Being 10th and 11th in the Serie A table, this is a big match for both Milan and Chievo. Neither team have been able to keep a clean sheet recently and a scoring draw could be in prospect.
