Braga vs Marseille Preview
Braga will have been massively disappointed to have lost the first leg 3-0 in France last week. The biggest problem they have is that they were unable to grab an away goal, so if Marseille score here in the second leg it will become almost impossible for the Portuguese side to progress.
In terms of the team news, Raúl Silva is back available again after missing the first leg through suspension. He is expected to return to the defence here. Dyego Sousa on the other hand will probably miss out as he had to come off at the weekend. Ricardo Ferreira and Fransergio are no longer in the Europa League squad, while Ricardo Esgaio is serving a one match ban.
Marseille are in a very strong position in the tie and that could see them make a few changes here to rest some of the key men. It would be a little bit of a risk, but as they have a three goal lead it would take a big turnaround for them to head out of the competition.
Rudi Garcia is expected to bring Bouna Sarr back into the defence after he sat out at the weekend through suspension. Aymen Abdennour could play too, having not featured too often recently. Kostas Mitroglou is struggling with an injury but is likely to start if he can recover in time.

Braga vs Marseille Prediction
Braga will feel like they are massive outsiders to go through having lost the first leg 3-0. At home though if they are able to get an early goal then the confidence might grow and the fans will get behind them. Their home form is good too, having won 13 of their last 17 home matches in all competitions.
Marseille are in great form though, having gone unbeaten in their last 12 in all competitions. They will feel as if they can grab an away goal and pretty much end the contest. Marseille have won 4 of their last 5 matches away from home too, with many of those matches bringing clean sheets too.
Both sides warmed up for this second leg with wins. Braga went away to Guimaraes and won 5-0 on Sunday, while Marseille beat Bordeaux 1-0. These results have left Braga and Marseille in 4th and 3rd place in the Portuguese and French Leagues respectively.
Braga may not make it through to the next round of the Europa League, but they can restore a bit of pride in front of their home fans. The tip is for a draw on the night as Marseille will look to defend their lead.

Braga won the game on home ground in Portugal narrowly in an exciting 3-2 contest, with Alan grabbing the winner for Braga after a number of late goals. The fixture in Marseille was also a home win, with Georges-Kevin N’Koudou scoring the winner in a 1-0 win.
The first leg of this season’s contest was all Marseille, as they eased to a 3-0 win with two goals from Valere Germain and one from Florian Thauvin.
