Inter Milan vs Fiorentina Prediction and Preview – 27/09/15
Serie A preview – Inter Milan vs Fiorentina prediction
Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has Miranda back to full fitness having played in mid-week and the Brazilian should start again in this one. Therefore, expect there to be minimal changes to the team which defeated Verona on Wednesday, although Stefan Jovetic could come in to replace Adam Ljajic.
Fiorentina manager Paulo Sousa only has Manuel Pasqual definitely unavailable and because of that, Marcos Alonso is assured of his place at left-back. Elsewhere in the team, it will be interesting to see if Sousa opts to keep Khouma Babacar and Josip Ilicic in attack or go with Giuseppe Rossi and Nikola Kalinic.

Prediction
It’s been an excellent start to the season for Inter Milan. Sitting top of the table with a maximum of 15 points from their 5 games played, Roberto Mancini will be delighted. The defence in-particular has been superb, conceding just 1 goal so far in Serie A this season, which came at Carpi. The only real concern will be the lack of goals in the team and the fact they have won each of their 5 games by just a 1 goal margin.
Fiorentina sit 3 points behind Inter Milan in the table, having won 4 and lost 1 of their opening 5 matches this season. The defeat came away at Torino, where Fiorentina conceded 3 goals but that has really been the exception, as they have kept a clean-sheet in every other game in Serie A. However, Paulo Sousa will want to guard against a repeat of the result against Torino and may set up quite defensively to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
Both teams come in to this match with great defensive records and considering it’s the top two against each other, neither team will want to face a defeat. That being said, Inter seem to have the knack of grinding out wins and 1 goal could be enough for them to take all 3 points.
