Juventus vs Bologna Prediction and Preview – 04/10/15
Serie A preview – Juventus vs Bologna prediction
Having won their Champions League game in mid-week against Sevilla, Juventus manager Max Allegri will be tempted to keep faith with the team which delivered that victory. Whether Sami Khedira can play two games in quick succession remains to be seen but the bulk of the starting XI should be very reminiscent of Wednesday’s.
Bologna will have to make do without forward Emanuele Giaccherini, who was forced off with an injury last weekend. That should mean a start for Franco Brienza, with Saphir Taider and Luca Rizzo battling for a place in midfield.
Possible Line-ups
Juventus: 3-5-2 formation: Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Cuadrado, Khedira, Pogba, Hernanes, Evra; Morata, Dybala
Bologna: 4-3-3 formation: Mirante; Ferrari, Oikonomou, Rossettini, Masina; Diawara, Pulgar, Taider; Brienza, Destro, Mounier

Prediction
Juventus recorded their second win in as many games in the Champions League on Wednesday and really need to start taking their European form in to domestic games. A good 2-0 away win at Genoa was supposed to be the catalyst for Juvenutus’ season to get going but they followed it up by drawing 1-1 at home to Frosinone and losing 2-1 at Napoli. Juventus need to win this game, otherwise any hope they have left of retaining the title will surely be gone.
Bologna have won just 1 Serie A match this season, losing all of their other 5 games. Away form in particular has been dreadful, losing their 3 games on the road, scoring 1 goal and conceding 6 in the process. The last time Bologna won an away match in Serie A was back in February 2014, during the season in which they were relegated. Even in Serie B last season, when winning promotion, they won 1 of their last 8 away matches.
This has to be the game, against a team who really struggle away from home, for Juventus to pick up their second win of the season in Serie A.
