Premier League preview – Swansea vs Manchester United prediction
Swansea have always been a possession based side, looking to dominate the ball and play their way around opponents. They possess a very underrated and solid squad with some highly talented players who are being commanded by an underrated and passionate manager in Gary Monk, who was playing for the team only a few years ago. With the addition of ex-Marseille forward Andre Ayew to compliment Montero and Gomis, who has taken the candle from now Man City forward Wilfried Bony, they have been very impressive this season and remain unbeaten so far. Which is particularly impressive, bearing in mind their first game of the season was away at Stamford Bridge.
Manchester United have not conceded a goal so far this season, with Chris Smalling and Daley Blind forming a well working partnership at the centre of defence, Darmian solving the long considered Right back problem and Luke Shaw dramatically improved on his first season at Old Trafford. Sergio Romero is proving capable in filling the gap from the inevitable departure of De Gea to Real Madrid, they have however struggled to score goals, winning their first two games 1-0 and drawing the third 0-0. This has however, given them 7 points so far and like their opponents, they remain unbeaten and after Rooney finally opened his account for the season with a hattrick away at Club Brugge in midweek, they will be confident heading into this game.
