Genoa vs Napoli Prediction and Preview – 01/11/15
Serie A preview – Genoa vs Napoli prediction
Genoa are definitely without Goran Pandev and Giovanni Marchese this weekend. Manager Gian Piero Gasperini is also sweating on the fitness of Nicolas Burdisso, Blerim Dzemaili and Diego Capel. If they don’t make it, there could be changes in defence, midfield and attack for Genoa.
Napoli continue to remain injury free this season and with no suspensions to worry about either, Maurizio Sarri has a full squad to select from. However, the manager is unlikely to make many changes with the only positions up for grabs being those supporting Gonzalo Higuain in attack.
Possible Line-ups
Genoa: 3-4-3 formation: Perin; De Maio, Munoz, Izzo; Figueiras, Costa, Rincon, Laxalt; Perotti, Pavoletti, Gakpe
Napoli: 4-3-3 formation: Reina; Hysaj, Koulibaly, Albiol, Ghoulam; Allan, Jorginho, Hamsik; Callejon, Higuain, Insigne

Prediction
Despite suffering a 2-0 defeat at Empoli last weekend, there have been improvements in Genoa’s form over the course of the last month in Serie A. Victories over AC Milan and Chievo Verona at home plus draws at Udinese and most recently Torino, have seen Genoa starting to pick up points again. It’s the home form which has been the highlight so far this season, picking up 9 of a possible 12 points available.
Napoli are on a run of seven straight wins in all competitions and confidence must be over flowing in their team right now. Not only have they been scoring plenty of goals but the defensive side of things has also been good, conceding just 2 goals in their last 6 matches. Napoli come in to this game unbeaten in 12 and will fancy their chances of extending that run with a win in Genoa.
