Schalke 04 vs Hertha Berlin Prediction and Preview – 17/10/15
Bundesliga preview – Schalke 04 vs Hertha Berlin prediction
Schalke will start with Junior Caicara at right full back. Leon Goretzka could make way for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in central midfield but on the flank competition is tough as Max Meyer, Leroy Sane and Eric Maxim Choup-Moting compete for two spots. The regular front pairing of Huntelaar and Di Santo should start the game.
Hertha Berlin will continue with Rune Jarstein in goal, replacing the injured Thomas Kraft. Jens Hegeler may be forced to fill in at centre back with Stark, Brooks and Langkamp all doubts for the game. Salomon Kalou may return to the left wing again although Valentin Stocker is an option to allow Kalou to play further forward.
Possible Line-ups

Prediction
Schalke currently sit 3rd in the table, just one spot above their opponent this weekend. They had their 6 game winning streak in all competitions ended by FC Koln in their last home game after a resounding 3-0 defeat. Perhaps Europa League pressure was beginning to tell on the squad and that defeat was a temporary blip, Schalke will hope to get back to winning ways in their third straight home game.
Hertha Berlin make up the cast for the Bundesliga game of the weekend and will hope to be more than just a supporting actor. However without a win in their last 3 away games Hertha may find this game rather unforgiving. It is their home form that has gotten them to the lofty heights of 4th in the Bundesliga and this away game may be too much to ask.
We have gone for goals in this one. The potential for goals is increased when you consider that Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Franco Di Santo, Salomon Kalou and Vedad Ibisevic will all be playing. Schalke will want to get back to winning ways and Hertha find it difficult to win away from home.
