Wimbledon Predictions | Men’s Fourth Round

Andy Murray overcame a slight blip against Andreas Seppi in the third round and progressed impressively in four sets. However, the shoulder injury that Murray suffered in the match, will give cause for concern and the trainer was required on court to help Murray get through. The Scot will want to cut down on the 26 unforced errors from the match against Seppi but the determination and level of performance is definitely there.

Murray’s opponent, Ivo Karlovic, is the oldest man at 36 to make it in to the fourth round. The big serving Croat has hit a total of 136 aces so far in the tournament and this will be a big weapon against Murray. Karlovic will look to upset Murray by continuing his fine play at the net but has never beaten the Scot in his career.

Karlovic has the weapons to make things difficult for Murray but the number three seed should have enough to progress. Murray is 3/1 to win in four sets with Bet365.

French Open champion, Stan Wawrinka has a tough looking match against David Goffin, who is yet to drop a set at Wimbledon this year. Goffin is a versatile grass court player, with good movement and an excellent return of serve. This match could see an upset and Goffin is 7/2 with Bet365 to win the match.

World number one, Novak Djokovic, will have his return game tested to the full against Kevin Anderson. The South African’s serve alone will win him games and this may stretch the match out but the Serb will still win through. Roger Federer takes on Roberto Bautista-Agut and after a slight hiccup against Sam Groth, the Swiss will be pleased with draw. Agut’s style of play will suit Federer, who should ease in to the quarter-finals.

Elsewhere, Nick Kyrgios is serving brilliantly and this could carry the Australian through against Richard Gasquet. The Australian is 7/2 with Bet365 to progress in four sets.
