Augsburg have plenty of competition at left back but Feulner could win the race to start. In central midfield Koo may begin the game ahead of Dominik Kohr in a spot beside Altintop. With Tobias Werner unfortunately injured for Augsburg Dong-Won Ji is likely to fill in on the left wing.
Hoffenheim manager Markus Gisdol may decide to stick with the team that got a result against Dortmund in midweek. It is in attack where he may look to freshen up the side, Steven Zuber is an option on the left wing. 1899 Hoffenheim have struggled to gel as a team with the new arrivals only beginning to settle but holding Dortmund to a draw midweek will have done the squad and everyone connected with the club a world of good. With Hoffenheim still waiting on their first win of the season another performance like the display against Dortmund will see them rise up the table.
We have went for this to be a tough game from start to finish. However Hoffenheim just edge it slightly, although winless their performance against Dortmund was impressive and could spur the team on. Pace on the flanks could be the difference with plenty of crosses into the box.
