Malmo vs Real Madrid Prediction and Preview – 30/09/15
Champions League preview – Malmo vs Real Madrid prediction
Malmo are without Zlatan Azinovic, who is definitely out with injury and both Guillermo Molins and Rasmus Bengtsson are rated as doubtful. Therefore, with Azinovic still on the sidelines, Johan Wiland will continue in goal. Age Hareide could either go on the defensive, with 5 at the back or play a 4-4-2.
Real Madrid travel to Sweden without a number of first team players available. Gareth Bale, Sergio Ramos, Pepe and James Rodriguez are all out with injury. Nacho is likely to continue at the back alongside Raphael Varane, with Isco and Mateo Kovacic playing in support of Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
Possible Line-ups
Malmo: 4-4-2 formation: Wiland; Yotun, Carvalho, Bengtsson, Tinnerholm; Berget, Adu, Lewicki, Rodic; Djurdjic, Rosenberg
Real Madrid: 4-2-3-1 formation: Navas; Carvajal, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo; Kroos, Modric; Ronaldo, Kovacic, Isco; Benzema

Prediction
Malmo, as the majority of people expected, came away from PSG on match day one with nothing to show for their efforts. The 2-0 scoreline does not reflect the superiority of PSG in that match and Malmo will be looking to restrict the number of chances Real Madrid have on their goal. Having drawn 0-0 in the Swedish league at the weekend, Malmo sit down in 5th place, 9 points off the leaders Gothenburg.
Real Madrid started their Champions League campaign in emphatic fashion by defeating Shakhtar Donetsk 4-0. Domestic league form since that win has not been brilliant, although they have won 2 of their 3 matches but the recent 0-0 home draw with Malaga did not go down well. Rafa Benitez knows his team have more than enough to win this match however and it’s a great opportunity for Ronaldo to get back amongst the goals.
Malmo are on an unbeaten 12 game run at home but Real Madrid have lost just 1 of their last 7 away Champions League games and should return to Spain with maximum points.
