Prediction
Both PSG and Real Madrid head in to this match on maximum points following their first two games. PSG defeated Malmo 2-0 at home before travelling to play Shakhtar Donetsk, in what could have been a tricky encounter but ended in a 3-0 win for Laurent Blanc’s team. PSG have yet to taste defeat this season and have drawn only two games, meaning they are in the habit of winning.
Rafa Benitez’s Real Madrid team sit top of the Primera Division table in Spain and like their opponents, have yet to lose a game this season. There have been a couple of disappointing results, such as the 0-0 draws against Sporting Gijon and Malaga but overall, it’s been a good start to the season.
This is the biggest fixture of the week in European club football and both teams have what it takes to come out on top. PSG defeated Barcelona at the same stage last season and considering their form and home advantage, could turn over another Spanish giant here.
