Sevilla vs Barcelona Prediction and Preview – 03/10/15
Spanish La Liga preview – Sevilla Vs Barcelona prediction
For Sevilla, Fernando Llorente and Vitolo are both doubts which could mean starting roles for Yevhne Konoplyanka and Kevin Gameiro. Unai Emery has a lot of players out injured still with Ever Banega, Adil Rami, Nico Pareja continuing their prolonged absence. Vicente Ibarra could be employed in the midfield to hustle the visitors’ passing game.
For Barcelona, Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta will be the high profile absentees. Munir will be the beneficiary of Messi’s absence and could slot on the right side of the attack trident while Suarez will slot into the central role. Mascherano could be brought into midfield to shore the absence of Iniesta. Claudio bravo could return to first team after a lengthy absence.

Prediction
Sevilla was one of the pre-season favourites but the Unai Emery side is stuttering early on in the campaign. With just 1 win in their last 4 matches in La Liga, the pressure is clearly on the home side to turn the table. An injury-hit Barcelona could be a blessing in disguise.
Barcelona, on the other hand, is still counting the damages of injuries. Messi and Iniesta are the latest entrants bloating their injury contingent. Luis Enrique wouldn’t want to lose further ground in the title race.
It will be an interesting game which normally would have tilted towards Sevilla. But, the home side is yet to hit the stride this year while Barcelona is missing its influential players. This could be a game decided by an odd goal.
