Dejan Lovren could return from his spell on the treatment table but is unlikely to be risked from the start.

Prediction

Tottenham have been steadily picking up points in the premier league having not lost since the opening day at Old Trafford.

However, Mauricio Pochettino’s side is yet to show their full potential having struggled to build consecutive wins. Most recently they followed up the 4-1 win over Manchester City with a 2-2 draw at Swansea City.

Liverpool start a new era on Saturday with Jurgen Klopp taking charge of his first match and don’t be surprised to see a positive reaction from his young players. The German is renowned for inciting enthusiasm around the training ground and giving his teams the freedom to express themselves.

It will be a tough test at White Hart Lane, but no one can doubt the talent amongst Liverpool’s ranks and a new manager to impress could just inspire them to victory.
