AC Milan have a number of players out, especially in defence, with Philippe Mexes and Ignazio Abate injured, plus Alessio Romagnoli suspended. Striker Mario Balotelli was likely to start this game up-front but he has picked up an injury in training and is now a doubt.
Napoli have none of the concerns of their hosts, as they come in to this match with a clean bill of health and no suspensions. Forward Dries Mertens is pushing for a starting place in Serie A but Lorenzo Insigne will probably keep his place.

However, they have won their 2 home matches and will want to continue that sequence.
Napoli have hit a patch of good form in recent weeks and are now unbeaten in their last 7 games in all competitions. Recent performances in Serie A have included a 5-0 thumping of Lazio and a 2-1 win over Juventus. That being said, both of those wins came at home and Napoli have yet to win a match away from home in Serie A this season. They have picked up just 2 points from a possible 9 on the road.
The away team are definitely the in-form side out of the two but with Milan having won both home matches this season and Napoli yet to win away in Serie A, this should be a very closely fought contest.
