AC Milan vs Sampdoria Prediction and Preview – 28/11/15
Serie A preview – AC Milan vs Sampdoria prediction
Andrea Bertolacci is set for a return to the AC Milan team after missing his race for fitness for last week’s game against Juventus. The midfielder could go straight into the side after Andrea Poli and Giacomo Bonaventura were tried in his absence. Nigel De Jong is being re-evaluated this week, the Dutch midfielder injured his left thigh in training over a week ago and may need more time to recover. Milan also have long term injuries to goalkeeper Diego Lopez in addition to forwards Mario Balotelli and Jeremy Menez.
Sampdoria goalkeeper took a knock in last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at Udinese but is expected to recovered in time for Saturday’s televised game. There are doubts about Mattia Cassini and Djamel Mesbah’s involvement while Ervin Zukanovic is suspended after being red carded on Sunday. Joaquin Correa, Nenad Krsticic and Andrea Coda remain sidelined with their ongoing injury problems.

Prediction
Milan lost for the first time in six games when going down 1-0 to Juventus in Turin last Saturday. Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side has been solid at home since catching Napoli in blistering form for the 0-4 defeat on October. They defeated Sassuolo (2-1) and Chievo (1-0) in Milan before being being held to a 0-0 draw by Atalanta earlier this month
Sampdoria look like a team losing confidence week by week. There one taste of success in eight games came against relegation candidates Hellas Verona and Vincenzo Montella’s men seem to have an aversion to travel. Sampdoria have earned just two points from six away games and to come away with nothing from Frosinone and Udinese suggests they are a bad bet on the road.
The visitors would probably settle for a draw and can be expected to set out their stall to shout out the opposition. A home win is the obvious choice in what shapes up as a low scoring affair.
