Lazio vs AC Milan Prediction and Preview – 01/11/15
Serie A preview – Lazio vs AC Milan prediction
Lazio have to make do without the injured trio of Stefan de Vrij, Marco Parolo and Balde Keita. There are also fitness concerns over Senad Lulic and Wesley Hoedt, which could mean a change in the defence, both at centre back and left-back, if the pair don’t make it.
AC Milan are still without Jeremy Menez and Mario Balotelli, who are both injured. Forward M’Baye Niang is available and may make the trip to Rome. Otherwise, Sinisa Mihajlovic is likely to name the same starting XI which played against Chievo in mid-week.
Possible Line-ups
Lazio: 4-2-3-1 formation: Marchetti; Basta, Hoedt, Gentiletti, Radu; Cataldi, Biglia; Candreva, Anderson, Milinkovic; Klose
AC Milan: 4-3-3 formation: Donnarumma; Abate, Romagnoli, Alex, Antonelli; Monolivo, Bertolacci, Kucka; Bonaventura, Bacca, Cerci

Prediction
Lazio will come in to this game very disappointed that they didn’t take anything from the match against Atalanta in mid-week. A win there would have kept them right in the title race but at the time of writing they are 5 points off the pace. Lazio have scored 15 goals in their 10 league games but have also conceded 15 and they seem to be struggling to find the right balance between defence and attack. However, home form has been excellent, winning all 5 of their Serie A matches in Rome.
AC Milan claimed important back-to-back victories at the San Siro last week and will be hoping to push on now they are sitting in the top half of the table. Victory over Lazio and a couple of other results going their way, could see Milan climb to as high as 6th in Serie A this weekend and ease the pressure on the players and manager. Away form has not been good however, picking up just 4 points from a possible 15 available.
Despite the fact Milan have won their last two matches, they were both at home and Lazio have been unstoppable at the Stadio Olimpico this season. This game could result in a narrow home victory.
