Juventus vs Atalanta Prediction and Preview – 25/10/15
Serie A preview – Juventus vs Atalanta prediction
Juventus are still without Stephan Lichtsteiner, who is definitely out injured. Martin Caceres is also struggling to make the game and therefore, Juventus may continue playing three at the back, with Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonnuci and Andrea Barzagli making up the back line. In attack, Mario Mandzukic may partner Alvaro Morata.
Atalanta have to make do without Marcelo Estigarribia, who is injured but otherwise Edoardo Reja’s team travel to Turin without any injury concerns. Defender Gabriel Paletta is available following suspension and should partner Rafael Toloi in the centre of Atalanta’s defence.
Possible Line-ups
Juventus: 3-5-2 formation: Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Cuadrado, Khedira, Pogba, Marchisio, Evra; Morata, Mandzukic
Atalanta: 4-3-3 formation: Sportiello; Masiello, Toloi, Paletta, Drame; Grassi, Roon, Carmona; Moralez, Pinilla, Gomez

Prediction
Juventus come in to this game having drawn their previous two matches, one of which was in Serie A and the other in the Champions League. While neither result was a disaster, the fact that Juventus failed to score a single goal will be a concern and there seems to be little in the way of a partnership building up-front. Defensively things are improving but if they can prevent Atalanta from scoring, can they put the ball in the back of the net themselves?
Atalanta recorded a good 3-0 home win over Carpi last weekend and have lost just one of their last seven games in Serie A. The loss came at an in-form Fiorentina and despite it being a heavy 3-0 defeat, the way the team came back to win against Carpi, shows they did not allow the result to have a negative impact on their overall form. The result in Florence may see Atalanta sit back and make keeping a clean sheet their number one priority, as opposed to going out and attacking Juventus.
Atalanta will be determined not to have a repeat of their away result against Fiorentina and could make things very difficult for a Juventus team who have failed to score in their last 180 minutes of football.
