Juventus vs Borussia M.Gladbach Prediction and Preview – 21/10/15
Champions League preview – Juventus vs Borussia M.Gladbach prediction
Juventus are still without full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner and defender Martin Caceres. Therefore, Juan Cuadrado, who did well against Inter at the weekend, should keep his place on the right side. With both Claudio Marchisio and Sami Khedira both available, it could be five across the midfield again for Juventus.
Borussia M.Gladbach are without a few players due to injury for their trip to Turin. Patrick Herrmann, Martin Stranzl and Nico Schulz will all stay in Germany and Marvin Schulz is also rated as doubtful. Considering the way they played on the weekend, it’s likely Borussia M.Gladbach will adopt a similar approach in this one.
Possible Line-ups

Borussia M.Gladbach: 4-4-2 formation: Sommer; Korb, Christensen, Dominguez, Wendt; Traore, Dahoud, Xhaka, Johnson; Raffael, Stindl

Prediction
Despite suffering from poor form in Serie A, Juventus have had no difficulty securing good results in the Champions League and sit top of Group D with 6 points from two games. The highlight was the 2-1 victory at Manchester City, which came at a time when Juventus were really struggling. Juventus have lost only one of their last eight games in all competitions and considering their results in this season’s Champions League, will be confident of securing their third win in Group D.
Similarly to Juventus, Borussia M.Gladbach made a poor start to the season but have really begun to turn things around. They have won four of their last five games, with the defeat coming in this competition against Manchester City, a game they could easily have won. However, that defeat does leave Borussia M.Gladbach sitting bottom of Group D, having also lost their first match 3-0 in Sevilla.
Both teams are starting to get in to gear but although Borussia M.Gladbach should make things difficult for Juventus, it’s very rare they lose at home in the Champions League.
