After a very slow start to the season in Seire A, Napoli seem to be going from strength to strength and that was evident in their 4-0 away win against AC Milan last time out. Napoli are undefeated in their last 8 competitive games and will believe they can get right back in the title race with a win in this one.
Fiorentina are also a team in fantastic form, having won their last 5 competitive matches and last 5 in Serie A. The real test of their credential so far this season came at Inter Milan and they passed with flying colours, putting 4 past the home team with just a single reply. Fiorentina’s only defeat of the season came at Torino and they will want to avoid a similar away performance at Napoli. Having not been singled out as a title contender before the season, a win here will surely get people talking.
Despite their win at AC Milan, Napoli have dropped points this season against teams worse off than Fiorentina. This should be a great game, with plenty of goal mouth action and Fiorentina should come away with at least a point.
