Serie A preview – AC Milan vs Roma prediction.

Teenage full-back Davide Calabria will be hoping to retain his place after a solid performance for Milan in their win at Bologna last Friday. The 19-year-old replaced Ignazio Abate who will be available after missing the game with flu symptoms. Luca Antonelli remains sidelined and Mattia De Sciglio is expected to continue on the left. Left-winger Giacomo Bonaventura returned to training this week and will be considered along with right flanker Jeremy Menez who missed out last weekend due to a minor back problem.

Roma midfielder Seydu Keita is struggling to shake off an ankle knock and will be assessed closer to kick off. Attacking midfielder Salih Ucan has been on the fringes this season and is the only other injury concern for Luciano Spalletti. Up front, Edin Dzeko has struggled to cement his place and the manager may stick with Diego Perotti in the central role despite his own problems finding the net.

AC Milan vs Roma Prediction

Milan picked up their first win in four games when Carlos Bacca converted a40th-minutee penalty to beat 10-man Bologna on Friday. Cristian Brocchi will have been pleased with the clean sheet as his side had shipped three in the draw with Frosinone at San Siro after conceding twice in the previous match at Verona. Milan have failed to win the last four home games, earning draws against Lazio, Carpi and Frosinone and losing 2-1 to Juventus. Roma have their eye on finishing second and have closed to within one point of Napoli with four consecutive victories. They are unbeaten in 16 league games since losing 1-0 at Juventus in January and have won six of the last seven away games. Roma have conceded in each on the last six away games but have scored 18, an average of three goals per game. Roma have not defeated AC Milan in San Siro since December 2012 but can put that record straight on Saturday if maintaining their current form.
