Inter Milan vs Torino Prediction and Preview – 03/04/16
Serie A preview – Inter Milan vs Torino prediction.
Inter Milan should be at full strength for the visit of Torino on Sunday. Mauro Icardi’s knee injury is not as bad as first expected and the striker will have a fitness test prior to kick-off. Geoffrey Kondogbia has recovered from a calf injury which kept him out of international action but doesn’t seem to fit in Roberto Mancini’s new formation. Stevan Jovetic should also be available but may have to settle for a place on the bench.
Central defender Kamil Glik is ruled out of the Torino side after picking up his tenth yellow card of the season in the Turin derby two weeks ago. Striker Ciro Immobile is sidelined with a hamstring problem and Maxi Lopez is expected to partner leading scorer Andrea Belotti. Davide Zappacosta is pushing for a place and could be used at left-back instead of central defender Gaston Silva who replaced the out-of-favour Cristian Molinaro against Juventus.
Possible Line-ups

Prediction
Inter have not given up hope of a Champions League place next season. Roma are facing a potential banana skin in their derby match and a good result against Torino could see Roberto Mancini’s men close the gap on third place. Inter have won two (Palermo home and Bologna home) and drawn one (Roma away) since Mancini changed the formation to 4-2-3-1. The move has produced positive results but hasn’t stemmed the leak of goals as Inter have conceded in each of the last seven league games.
Torino have drawn two and lost three of the last five in Serie A and are in danger of being sucked into the relegation fight. Giampiero Ventura’s side has won three away games all season, most recently a 3-1 victory in Palermo in February but were defeated by Milan and Genoa on the last two road trips.
The last four meetings between these two have only produced three goals in total but recent results suggest there should be more goalmouth action on Sunday.
