Augsburg are likely to start with Markus Feulner at left back with Konstantinos Stafylidis doubtful after suffering a knock. Dominik Kohr may get the nod over Ja-Cheol Koo due to his more defensive style as Augsburg will want to control the game in central midfield. Tobias Werner returns from injury to take up his role on the left wing.
Darmstadt have Junior Diaz playing left back with Fabian Holland having to settle for a spot on the bench. Peter Niemeyer should recover from a thigh injury which would be a massive boost for Darmstadt. Marco Sailer may start at Number 10 although Jan Rosenthal has played there in recent weeks when the team have done well and Wagner should get an opportunity to lead the line.
