Shakhtar Donetsk vs Sevilla Prediction and Preview – 28/04/16
Europa League preview – Shakhtar Donetsk vs Sevilla prediction.
Shakhtar coach Mircea Lucescu accused his players of thinking more about Sevilla than the opposition in Odessa when drawing with lowly Chornomorets in the Ukrainian Premier League on Saturday. Although reporting no injuries, Lucescu said ‘issues’ with midfielders Dentinho and Bernard may rule them out of Thursday’s game. Leading scorer Eduardo Da Silva may start on the bench as Oleksandr Gladky has been the preferred as the front man lately.
Right winger Victor Vitolo is sidelined for Sevilla with a hamstring strain. Defender Adil Rami missed Saturday’s La Liga game with a hip problem and is doubtful for the first leg. Midfielders Vicente Iborra, Michael Krohn-Dehli, Coke and Stefan Cristoforo started on the bench for the visit of Betis at the weekend and will be hopeful of making the lineup on Thursday. There is no sign of a return for centre-back Daniel Carrico who has been suffering from fatigue and left-back Benoit Tremoulinas remains unlikely as he recovers from a thigh injury.
