There is more football than ever on TV and that list is growing year upon year.

The growth and success of the Premier League means that more people have access to top level football than ever before, and the interest in the sport is at an all time high. People want their football fix and somewhere or other, they will be able to get it pretty much 365 days a year. In terms of the Premier League, there have been plenty of different winners of the famous trophy since it was first introduced.

For a long time, Manchester United were the team on top under Alex Ferguson, who is perhaps the greatest manager of all time. Their win in the first Premier League season was their 8th English league title, and they would amass plenty more, reaching the 20 league title mark in the 2012-13 season.

Backed by the money of Jack Walker, Blackburn Rovers famously claimed a huge league title in the 1994-95 season under the guidance of Kenny Dalglish, with Alan Shearer finishing as the top scorer as well with 34 goals.

Then came the arrival of Arsene Wenger, who would prove to be an immense success at London club Arsenal. They first won the Premier League under Wenger in 1997-98, and have since won it twice more, including one season as ‘The Invincibles’, going all 38 matches without losing once.

When 2004 rolled around, Jose Mourinho entered English football and completely changed the landscape. The money of billionaire owner Roman Abramovich powered Chelsea to the title with a record number of points. They amassed a staggering 95 points in one season and became the team to beat in English football. They won the league the following year too, and after claiming the title in 2016-17, hold 5 Premier League titles to their name.

This really opened the floodgates for mega rich owners to buy Premier League football clubs in order to turn them into hugely successful sides. Manchester City would follow the Chelsea blueprint and invest insane amounts of money into player recruitment, which has paid off for them in a big way. Their first Premier League title came in the most dramatic fashion, with Sergio Aguero snatching the trophy away from Manchester United with his late winner against Queens Park Rangers.

Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City proved themselves to be huge clubs, and Blackburn Rovers were the first to invest well in order to win the title. What can’t be accounted for though is Leicester City’s triumph in 2015-16. It went against all kinds of logic and many people still can’t explain how exactly it happened.

What it does show is the magic of the league itself, and it has proved why it is one of the most watched leagues around the world. The season before they won it, they were staring relegation to the Championship in the face and were rock bottom of the league for a long time. They survived with a great run of form towards the end, though Nigel Pearson was sacked in the summer.

Former Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri came in and many pundits thought it was an underwhelming choice. How wrong they proved to be, as possibly the most shocking title win of all time happened, with Leicester winning the league by a whole 10 points at the end. Players such as Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy were instrumental in the Foxes lifting the trophy.

Premier League betting is very popular, and a lot of the predictions that we provide are Premier League betting tips. For each tip page that we publish, tips for four different betting markets are provided; Match Odds, Over/Under 2.5 Goals, Correct Score and Both Teams To Score.

Match Odds is simply whether the match will be a win for one of the two sides or whether it will be a draw. Over 2.5 Goals is predicting whether or not there will be 3 or more goals during the match. If there is, a bet on Yes would be a winner. If not, it will be No. Correct Score tips are less likely to come off every time, but due to the longer odds you can get a bigger payout when they do. As there are so many potential scorelines in a football match it can be difficult to predict completely accurately.

When on the TipsFix site you will also be able to benefit from our Premier League betting odds comparison tool, which can be found at the bottom of every individual published prediction page. Here you can find the odds for markets including; Match Odds, Over/Under, Half Time/Full Time and Both Teams To Score.
